Thank you for your questions, yes Mozilla is aware of the issue and is working on a fix to go out in an update as soon as possible.
Till then you could consider to disable JavaScript (and enable it when needed)

As Happy112 points out, Firefox 50.0.2 directly addresses the bug which leads to the potential exploit.
Update Firefox to the latest release
If the updater doesn't work for you, you can download a full installer (scroll down to your preferred language):

Note: For maximum plugin compatibility, choose the regular Windows version (32-bit version) rather than the 64-bit version. The 64-bit version for Windows can only use the Flash and Silverlight plugins.
