Sync not sharing bookmarks, only some passwords, and no other features whatsoever
I read that the easiest way to transfer my bookmarks, add-ons, and passwords to a new firefox on a new computer was to use the sync feature. Both computers definitely have the most recent version of firefox, and both computers are listed as syncing on the devices list. However, I'm still waiting for something to happen. Does it take a while for things to transfer? I can't tell if it's transferring or not. My bookmarks are still empty, and none of my add-ons have been moved yet. It seems like a few of my passwords have been moved. How long does this take, and how do I know if it's working?

Syncing all data can take some time, so if you have a lot of bookmarks then you may have to wait longer. It is also possible that there is a problem with the places.sqlite database.
You can check the about:sync-log page via the location/address bar to see if there are recent error logs available. You can upload a recent log if the log is too big to put in a reply.
