Firefox 12.0 was the last that Windows 2000 could support. Firefox 13.0 and later required Windows XP SP2 and later Windows. The future Firefox 53.0 and later Releases will be dropping WinXP/Vista support.

Extended security updates support for Win2K from Microsoft ended back on July 13, 2010 by the way.
