When right clicking on many web pages sites article links etc. The action acts like a left click. This happens on several sites, but not all. Same goes for mid button. It will ether trigger as mid button and left or just left button action. I know this issue has been in Firefox before via googling, but it should have been fixed, but I have it so. It might have come back. I dont know why. This is NOT an issue in the other two browsers I have installed.

Example site of where it always happens: https://www.nrk.no/

When I go there and press a "sub link" inside the site. The above happens.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Still happens on that site with all addons disabled and the browser started in safe mode.

I also tried changing the mouse in Windows Folder option back to "double click" to start stuff, since I use "single click" to start programs etc, while in safe mode thinking there might be a link, but that didnt help ether.

This is actually an old issue that has been present for several Firefox updates. At least on my end.

I had no problem with https://www.nrk.no/

Start your Computer in safe mode. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
