user proxy with authentication
I have this problem many days now .... I have this proxy server with Authentication (user and password) .. when I use the proxy server from the option ... I put the proxy and the port then I open a new tab and get to google.com I get this message " Secure Connection Failed" The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. and this error to all website ... Help please

There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
I did it and never works but I knew the problem and it was simple .. changed the proxy server and worked fine thanks for the replies
