Regardless of whether I am stationary on a page (even an online radio station) when I am not browsing, Google shows up Cookies. This has been happening for quite a long time. Is there no way to eliminate this from happening; like all other Cookies... Google has become like a cancer on the internet. :(

Firefox uses the Google SafeBrowsing service to download lists of phishing and malware sites a couple times a day. A special purpose cookie is created in that process; it is separate from normal browsing cookies set when you visit Google sites and shouldn't appear in the Cookies dialog.
