How can I retieve a deleted bookmark folder?
I mistakenly deleted a bookmark folder. I have searched and my updated version doesn't seem to have the right format or else I can't figure it out... Thanks

If you have not exited out of Firefox, you can try the "Undo" command on the "Organize" menu of the Library window.
To open that window, either:
- Ctrl+Shift+b
- "Show All Bookmarks"
Of course, Undo works backwards through your recent changes, so if you made other edits after that, you may need to Undo many times or you may prefer to restore a backup.

Hi, the easiest way will be to open bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Restore, and see if you have a recent backup there. Just be aware though, that your current bookmarks will be replaced by the backup.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

This didn't work well for me. Strangely enough, this "Undo" command only restored a small part of the bookmarks I had in the folder I accidentally deleted. There were no more undo's available, so I had resort to the other method (ie. restoring the bookmarks backup from the previous day).
Oh my gosh! I just did this! The Delete button ought to be isolated somewhere by itself - not next to important other functions on various menus! I wanted to Sort By Name, and hit Delete accidentally.
But this Undo option worked for me. I'll sure remember it, because I come so close to the Delete option on other menus sometimes. Just stay in Firefox, and this work exactly as described above.
Thank you for the solution.... please put Delete somewhere off by itself!
