I am interested in using the option under Preferences > Language and Appearance > Colors...

I was curious to make the default color of pages to be a dark background with light text. Setting it to 'always' basically works. The only problem I have is that it seems to override more than just the background and text colors. A lot of other icons and web page characteristics get messed up. It's hard to describe.

The main page that I have an issue with now is Youtube. It seems to eliminate the controls on the player. I also noticed the support page of which I am posting this question had issues too. The input boxes where there (I think), but the actual graphics and outline of the boxes were was gone.

Any help is appreciated. Ie, a declaration that this will just not work, or even a suggestion of an extension that does this better.
