when clicking a bookmark, why cannot a new tab of that site open rather than the current tab?
when i click a bookmarked site , it loads in the current tab itself ... why cannot (clicked) site open in a new tab?

Hi carrun, While I don't know of any Firefox setting that will open bookmarks in a new tab, if you would like them to you can go Here. Click on "Add to Firefox" then "Add" and "Ok". Your bookmarks will open in a new tab from now on! ~calvinarchil
You can look at this pref on the about:config page.
- browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInTabs = true
Maybe you're interested in these prefs:
- browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground
- browser.bookmarks.openInTabClosesMenu
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
