I had gotten sick of Firefox, and their constant updates that made nearly everything 'no longer compatible', so I switched over to Chrome. Unfortunately, Chrome browser is monumnetally insecure, so I just switched back, but I can not get the videodownloadhelper add on to function now. Instead of downloading a video file, it redirects me to a webpage telling me to add a 'companion app', but this is endless, and the videodownlhelper demands this every single time I try to use it.... It is VideoDownloadHelper 7.3.0, and Firefox 60.0.1, are they incompatible now for some reason, and if so, what is a good alternative that does actually work in Firefox please?? Thanks in advance!!

Hi, So you have downloaded and installed the helper app and the Extension is up to date ?

Can you please check if there is a update for the helper from it's own web page.

Have you been to the Developers Support Page and seen this ? http://www.downloadhelper.net/support.php

I see other Extensions that are disabled at this time but a few of them can cause issues when enabled.

You should contact the add-ons support. Note that several programs use that name.
