Hi, my sister tried to set up mail forwarding to our email accounts while we were away on vacation and it worked for the first little while but now, its gone totally haywire. The system has now sent my thunderbird email account 13,410 emails of failed delivery notifications minus the 3,000 I had deleted yesterday. It's also sending my personal email over 500 emails of failed delivery notifications. I can't seem to turn it off and disable it. I've tried looking through tools -- options -- composition -- forward messages but I can't seem to locate the disable option. Could you please let me know how I can stop this? Each attachment has now become 51 attachments, as it keeps multiplying attachments when sending a failed error message and my computer/thunderbird has slowed down to a 30 sec or 1 minute wait after each click. Please help!

Tell your sister to undo what ever she did. There is no forwarding feature in Thunderbird. You can do it with a filter but it is not the recommended path to use. Most email providers have this feature at their webmail interface so check there. Only your sister knows what was done.
