Since I am trying to deposit the bookmarked page into a sub folder of the toolbar (Toolbar---Interesting Anime), I am surprised that it tells me that it has been saved in Libraries but not in the place I intended it to go. Do I have to change a setting some where to regain the previously operable method? Right click- bookmark- specify folder/file, ok.

Hi, please try a Refresh but Note that this does more than uninstalling and re-installing does. Normal uninstalling does not remove some preferences which may have become corrupt. Please Refresh but do this 1st:

Are you unable to drag the Tab down to the Bookmarks Toolbar and have that folder open automatically so that you can "drop" the new bookmark in that folder?

Just checked my Firefox 62 version devoid of any extensions, and that still works as well as it always has for me. Sure works quicker for me than using the default "New Bookmark" menu.

Thank you Edelmeister and PKshadow for your suggestions. However it did not solve my issue. I am wondering whether my use of Windows 10pro has affected this issue. Before I had to change computer I used Windows 10 home and I did not have this Issue of bookmarks being saved in Libraries in stead of the file/ folder I indicate in the choice. I can deal with it by going to libraries and R clicking- copy the bookmark and then opening the Toolbar sub folder (Interesting Animes) and pasting the bookmark in it.

Be faster other ways like turn on the Menu Bar then drag to Bookmark which opens than go down the folders till find it.

Same with the Star and the Pan under it. Much faster and 2 moves.

No it should not have made a difference Home vs Pro.

Please backup :

Thanks PKShadow, I did the integrity run however it did not change anything. It still follows the following path when I try to bookmark a website into "Interesting Anime" a sub folder of the Toolbar: Right click page, bookmark-- choose folder/file to deposit bookmark: (Toolbar) into "Interesting Anime"; response: "saved in Libraries" and nothing in "interesting Anime"/ As you say there are many ways to deal with this comfortably....Thank you for your assistance. Cheers, Robert
