I use some websites with captcha security and I can check a box if using Chrome but in Firefox it wants me to pick photos and it never seems to like my choices.

I regularly use the website nmcourts.gov and the case lookup feature. The case lookup feature requires checking a recaptcha box that I am not a robot. When using Chrome, the checkmark is sufficient. But in Firefox, it wants me to choose photos that show things and it never likes my choices. I don't like having to find photos. I'm using Version 63.0.1 (64-bit).

Thanks,

Are you logged into your Google account in Firefox? Chrome users who are logged into their Google account seem to get a free pass on reCAPTCHA challenges. Possibly you only need to log into your Google account long enough to store some Google cookies if you prefer to stay logged out.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

One issue that seems more common lately is Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. When it is blocking content in a page, a shield icon will appear at the left end of the address bar next to the padlock icon. This article has more info on managing this feature: Tracking Protection {web link}

The problem still occurred in safe mode. I also added the site to allow cookies, but that didn't help either.

I didn't see a shield icon and when I clicked the "i" in the dot it said that no blockable content was detected.

I appreciate your help.

Hmm. I'm using FF 61.0.2 and I didn't see the photos to choose from, just the "I'm Not a Robot". I don't know what the factors are from seeing Photos vs CheckBox. I've seen both over the years.
