Windows 7 / Windows 10 Firefox 60.3.0esr 64 bits

Hello, We work for a big company using Mozilla Firefox as the principal web browser. We work with Outlook Web Access. Since monday, some users are meeting issues printing mails on OWA. The problem seems to appear randomly. About one in two users is impacted and the problem does not occur every time.

The problem does not occur on IE or Chrome (never).

Manipulation : The user clicks on his mail, then on print, the preview is displayed then he clicks again on print and nothing happens.

Details and clues : - We work on the last ESR version for a month and a half and the problem showed up this monday. - When the problem appears, you can sometimes see in the bottom left corner a data transfer that never ends (not always). - If an email prints correctly once, it will not encounter the problem for the current Firefox session, but it can occurs on other mails (recently arrived)

What we tried : - Resetting the Firefox client (deleting the 3 AppData Mozilla directories) - Check or uncheck the boxes in the IE connection settings - See if the problem is related with Windows printers configuration (default printer, let windows automatically choose default printer or not... ) -> no link between the 2 - Open a ticket at Office365 support, unfortunately they directly indicated that the problem came from Mozilla

I'm sorry if I'm not clear, but I can't find a cause for the problem... If we can't solve the problem we'll have to change our default web browser, and that's too bad because we're very satisfied with it, FF is suitable for large companies.

Thanks in advance, Thomas.

Did something change? Was there a Firefox update or a Windows update?

Can you try the 60.1 esr and see if it still happens?

Hey, We updated Firefox 2 or 3 months ago, but the issue appeared on the week of the monthly Windows updates. We tried to uninstall the last updates but nothing changed.

I tried today to install Firefox 60.1 ESR on a user's computer who frequently has the problem (with uninstall and cleanup of the 60.3 before), and nothing changed here either, the problem appeared at the first mail opened... Another user told me that he met the same problem at home with a non ESR version, trying to print mails from office365... Thank you for your interest

I realize this is a very old post.

We could never recreate this problem. I'm not sure what to do.

Not so old, the problem still appears.

As i said months ago, it is frequent but not permanent. It happens only when you don't open the mail in a separate window. This is the only web browser encoutering this issue.
