I have two email accounts, one for skyrunner and one for gmail both going to same skyrunner inbox. I want to delete the skyrunner account.
Email is setup with two accounts, skyrunner and gmail, where both accounts share the skyrunner inbox. That is, under message storage / advanced the gmail account is flagged to use the inbox for a different account, the skyrunner account. I want to delete the skyrunner account. But I don't want lose any existing messages. I just want the gmail account to use the inbox it has always used, the one that used to be for the skyrunner account. I can guess how to do this, but don't want to mess things up and find I've lost my existing messages. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Change the gmail account to steer messages to its own inbox. Move or copy the messages from the inbox of the skyrunner account to the inbox in the gmail account. You might want to move or copy the sent messages as well, if you save them. You can then delete the skyrunner account.
