new tap is not working after the latest update

when 

i open a program from my bookmarks it should open in the next tap but it is not opening in the next tap it opens over the same tap i have ticked open link in new tap switch to it immediately but it will not work it was working before yesterday's latest update i dont know how to fix this problem can you help me

Enter about:config in the URL bar and set browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInTabs = true.
