It already does, but this depends on the email service provider.

If you mean the type of two-factor authentication for O365 accounts that don't support app passwords, that is currently under development: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1528136

OAuth2 authentication is currently supported for gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Yandex and mail.ru.
