I can not run the firefox installer after download - I get the message can not create temp folder archive

I have newer HP windows 10 computer. Firefox stopped working. I tried to install again. After downloading I received the following message when trying to install - "can not create temp folder archive" Please help.

Hi, sorry to hear about this problem. If you are using the small download (stub installer), could you try the full download (offline installer) and see whether that works better:

https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

Please double-check the selectors to make sure the correct language and OS are selected.

Quote: "can not create temp folder archive"

That is a problem with the 7-ZIP extractor that is able to extract the archive to the temp folder.

You can check the permissions and owner for the temp folder (%TMP% and %TEMP%) via "Properties -> Security -> Advanced" in the right-click context menu.
