Still a bug; re https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1275407
This is still a bug, NOT fixed in my version; 68.12.0 (32-bit) Windows 7 I have this problem; Quote from archived; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1275407 Just for added clarification: I'm trying to get it to STAY ON 'Body Text.' I can get it to temporarily go to 'Body Text' by going to Tools >> Options >> General >> Composition and unchecking the "Use Paragraph Format Instead Of Body Text By Default" Check Box. It will format all my e-mails in the 'Body Text' structure the rest of the session. However, if I restart (program/PC - whatever), the designation is back to 'Paragraph' (meaning the "Use Paragraph Format Instead Of Body Text By Default" Checkbox is CHECKED again). No matter what.
Please just fix this and make it "STICK" when you close and open the program. Thanks!

OK, Deleting permissions.sqlite in my below folder worked; C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\rp48emtq.default Now unchecking the box remains after unchecked after closing and restarting the TB.
I still consider this a BUG. Most users are NOT going to dig for this. It was almost a deal-breaker to use TB (or at least go back to my OLDer version)! Thanks, Keith

So do you see the error mentioned in comment 7? https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1489976#c7
Does deleting the file mentioned in comment 10 end the problem? https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1489976#c10
