For the past several days, I've noticed that for several pages/sites, Firefox never finishes loading the page. The page seems to be completely rendered, but the message "Transferring data from [website]" is displayed in the lower left corner of the page, and the little blue wiggly dot (Loading Indicator) continues its 'Knight Rider' scanning thing, moving back and forth in the tab at the top of the page. Why don't these pages finish loading? (Or why does Firefox think it is still loading after it has completed?)

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
