After update installed on March 24, Firefox will not open
On 3/22/22 an UPDATE was installed successfully on my home computer. On 3/24/22 at 12/21 pm CST, a notice box to install an update appeared. I clicked on the box, I put in my administrator password, and it installed. I rebooted my PC.
Since this install, I cannot open Firefox at all. I get this message box. "I use Pocket via the Firefox sign in and I need to access an item with Pocket. The shortcut is missing from my desktop. And is no longer listed in the Start menu.
I get this message box:
WINDOWS CANNOT ACCESS THE SPECIFIED DEVICE, PATH, OR FILE. YOU MAY NOT HAVE THE APPROPRIATE PERMISSIONS TO ACCESS THE ITEM.
I checked the path of the executable file for firefox. The file is located in C:/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/firefox.exe. So this is correct.
