Thunderbird is not working - I signed into my old AOL account yesterday and AOL has taken over - I want Thunderbird not AOL as my default email provider and have set it as that, but it is still not working - help please!

Just to clarify: AOL is an email provider, while Thunderbird is an email client program. Thunderbird focuses on connecting to your email account with credentials you provide and presenting emails to you that come through that email provider. Please describe in more detail what you are attempting to achieve. Thank you.
