new install on windows computer, does not load folders as my mother computers using thunderbird
I installed thunderbird on my new computer, but the subfolders and folders are missing, only "inbox" without the folders.

Please provide more information. What type of account? If folders are not showing, you might try highlighting the account in left folder pane, right-click and select 'subscribe' to see if account needs to subscribe to show folders.
