How can I revert my sync data to what I had been using on my newer computer, following the use of an old outdated computer ? My bookmarks, passwords et al. have reverted to the old data.

I have tried to turn off sync on the older machine that I rarely use. There are many bookmarks that I need to recover now on the new machine. I had everything selected to sync to the newer data on the older machine, but it would not sync. Now my new machine shows the the old data!

Thank much for suggestions! RayneByrd

For the bookmarks, Firefox keeps backups in the bookmarkbackups folder, so you should at least get the bookmarks back. See "My bookmarks have disappeared":

The name of an automatically created JSON bookmarks backup in the bookmarkbackups folder includes a total item count (folders and separators included) and an hash value to prevent saving the same backup more than once. You also see this count in the Restore menu drop-down list.
