unable to acess our yahoo email, and are being sent to a help for pay number to restore email. Wife and I have used tha yahoo mail since inception. is this a scam?t
need help accessing our email on yahoo. after answering the security question, in which town was your father born in, it staes that it is the wrong answer, denies access to email and refers us to a pay for help number to restore email. I believe it to be a scam. any way that Firefox can help? If you try to send a message, we can not open our email. therein is the problem.

Firefox has nothing to do with yahoo email or scam related to yahoo. It's up to the user to figure why their yahoo email is locked. Firefox never ask for money. Firefox isn't here to tell what is scam or not. Firefox is a End User help forum for Browser issues not online email issue or questions. That goes beyond Firefox forum help. Your yahoo email account issue is to contact yahoo support not Firefox forum.
I hope you bookmarked this thread or know how to find it. It could be malware or a problem with cookies. You may have to ask Yahoo for help.

Can you provide detail on the steps you are taking and screenshots of what you're seeing? I go to yahoo.com, click on email, and then login after getting the access code via my Hotmail account.
