My email provider changed to a new system. After updating the server settings, no new messages are retrieved into Thunderbird and I'm not being prompted to enter a new password. Since I changed the password in the web mail in my browser, I was expecting Thunderbird to prompt me for a new password.

I'm using POP3. Server name is pop.inbox.com, port 995 Security is SSL/TLS with Normal password auth method.

I've upgraded to the latest version of Thunderbird: 115.2.0 (64-bit).

Is there a way to do a connection test to verify the server settings are correct?

I rechecked the Inbox web site and they changed their settings for POP mail sometime between when I submitted this question and today. I'm now able to retrieve emails after changing the server settings in Thunderbird.

According to their website, you have the correct settings. Did you delete the old password from Saved Passwords in Settings/Privacy & Security, restart TB, and then enter the new one when prompted?
