I haven't been able to send an email and my isp says their settings are correct I need to contact Thunderbird to help with the PC settings....I need to speak with an agent. I am 81 and cant understand the prompts

There are no 'agents'. This page operates as a Forum of fellow users trying to help each other. Do you have someone you trust who can post here screenshots of the error messages so that we can offer you a solution?
