Whenever I login to any of my email accounts my username is memorized by Firefox. How do I stop this?

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== i did the following To use Firefox Safe Mode, follow these steps: 1. Close all Firefox tabs and browser windows. 2. Click the "Start" menu, and select "Run." 3. Type in "firefox -safe-mode" (without quotes), and press "Enter." This opens Firefox Safe Mode. 4. Place checkmarks only on the following options: - "Disable all add-ons" - "Reset toolbars and controls" - "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" - "Restore default search engines" WARNING: Do not place a checkmark on "Reset bookmarks to Firefox defaults." This option will delete your bookmarks. 5. Click the "Make Changes and Restart" button. This will restart the Firefox browser.

To delete the user name and password for the website is stored in what we call a cookie. It stores information and user/password info so you can use it later when you visit that site. To delete the cookie for that particular site go to Firefox then go to Tools-->Options-->Privacy and click on Firefox will and check the box that says Use custom settings for history. Then go to Exceptions and delete the cookie for the website you don't want to have your username saved on.

Or....

You can stop Firefox from saving your user info from website by going to Tools-->Options-->Security-->Exceptions and add a website you don't want Firefox to remember your info on.
