Clicking on a 'mailto' does not open an e-mail write. Thunderbird is my default e-mail program.
I recently upgraded to Windows 7 on a new computer, from XP. Since then, clicking on a 'mailto' does not open a write e-mail. This worked as it should on XP with the current release of Firefox.

Check your settings as shown in the changing the e-mail program used by Firefox article.
My default mail program is set to Thunderbird. This works correctly with IE but not with Firefox.
Have you checked all of the settings shown in the article I linked to? There is more in there than setting the default mail program.
Firefox and Windows seem to be set correctly. Thanks.
