I can not bookmark anything

I was able to bookmark in the past but for the past few months I can not bookmark anything even this website. My home page does not come up when i open my website thid has been going on for awhile also,

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

There are other things that need attention:
