Firefox 4 won't show Facebook friends' photos.
Since upgrading to 4.0, I cannot see friends' photos on my Facebook home page. I have gone through the click the icon, media tab and checked all the entries. None are checked. I have restarted with all add-ons off. I have read anything I can find in the forum.
If anyone has a fix for this problem, then I would be very much obliged to hear it.
Mac OSX, 10.6.7

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right-click context menu while saving an image. See:
You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
- Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
- Click the website favicon (How do I tell if my connection to a website is secure?) on the left end of the location bar.
- Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
- Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
- Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
- If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Thanks cor-el for your response. I had already done the stuff under the favicon. I did it again. The documentation on the mozilla site is out of date for FF4.0 Mac, but I managed to find what it was talking about. Under preferences, I have Facebook specifically allowing images to load.
Facebook worked in ff3.x. I am not sure why the developers decided to hand out a broken version for 4.0. What I am complaining about works just fine in Safari.
Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately it still doesn't work.

Did you find any exceptions set for images?
Firefox > Preferences > Content: Load Images > Exceptions
Facebook uses several servers (e.g. *.fbcdn.net) to store images and you may not recognize the server.
cor-el, again, thanks for following up. The only entry in the Exceptions is:
www.facebook.com Status: allow
But this is weird. I started using Safari because of this FF problem. Because I prefer FF as a browser, I drifted back to it. Now my Facebook friend's photos show. I changed nothing on the FF preferences. Perhaps making Safari my default browser taught Firefox a lesson and it decided to behave. Who knows?
Thanks for taking the time for me.

Did you scroll through all the images in Tools > Page Info > Media ?
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
