How can I adjust he opacity of the menu bar. it is about 50% I guess. What I see is a blur behind the menu, I would also like to move the Home button back to the middle of the bar, can this be done. I really don't like some of the changes to version 4. I guess I will have to get used to it, but that doesn't mean I like it.

You can try a persona with a solid background color.

Thanks for the answer but i try not to run any add-ons if i can help it. as it is I turn off all the menu bars except the menu bar, and navigation bar. If i could get the home button back to the center that would be nice as then i wouldn't have to move the mouse all over the screen. I sure miss the version 3.

I know you said you do not want to run any add-ons. But if you really want to solve your problem, especially about Home button, you might need to. You might want to consider this add-on:

A persona only change the background and possibly the text color of the toolbar area. A theme replaces icons as well.

Did you try a solid persona to see if that works?
Hovering a personaon the Getpersonas site should show how it looks, unless you have removed the software exception for the getpersonas.com site.

I'm on Linux, no can't do any testing in this matter.
