My computer just updated Windows 7 (23 updates) and rebooted, and since then Firefox will not open.
There are no error messages, it just won't start. It does not show up in the task manager. I have rebooted, I have tried starting from the taskbar, the desktop, and the folder. No luck. I downloded Firefox 5 to see if that would help and the program ran after the update, but once I closed it, it would not start again. Help! I need my bookmarks and cookies!

I had the same problem. I just downloaded firefox again, and that fixed it.
Did you have to uninstall Firefox first? I tried it and it didn't work...
