my internet bank is lloyds TSB within the uk. They have recently changed the look of their log on page. Since then i can enter my log on details. it then takes me to the home page with my account details on it. If i then click on an account i wish to view it then directs me stright back to the log on page. I have spoken to LLoyds and they insist that it is not their issue but Firefox. Please could you advise.

I had the same problem last week. I managed to cure it by adding the domain name (https://secure2.lloydstsb.co.uk) to exceptions and allow popups. This week I have the same problem yet the exceptions are still showing in my options - I thought that maybe they had got lost, deleted by Ccleaner or the domain name had changed.

IE8 (which LloydsTSB phone help advised me to use) running in basic mode (no add ons) works ok.

Running Win7 64-bit.

    4a) Accept Third-party Cookies -> under "Keep Until" select "They Expire"

-> REMOVE CHECKMARK from Last Option (CLEAR HISTORY WHEN FIREFOX CLOSES)

-> click the Favicon (small drop down menu icon) on Firefox SearchBar (its position is on the Right side of the Address Bar) -> click "Manage Search Engines" -> select unwanted search engines and click Remove -> click OK

-> go to Tools Menu -> Add-ons -> Extensions section -> REMOVE any Unwanted/Suspicious Extensions (Add-ons) -> Restart Firefox

You can enable your Known & Trustworthy Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working.

Hi, I have the exact same issue - been the same since FF v4.0 (which admittedly was only released about a day ago ;))

I have tried everything mha007 suggested. I just get the same 'infinity loop' the original poster describes.

Additionally, I also get a strange <wbr> tags listed across on one of my accounts (in the same font as the account title).

Having to use Safari in the meantime....
