change history settings
my computer only saves history from "today". how do i change so it saves all my history from previous days/weeks etc. ?

Make sure that you do not use Clear Recent History to clear the Browsing History when you close Firefox.
If you use cleanup software like CCleaner then check the settings for the Firefox application.
