I just installed Firefox 6.0, replacing 5.0. I also updated all plug-ins including Flash to version 10.3.183.5.

Everything looked good until I went to adobe.com. While static images (.jpg, .gif, etc.) appeared OK all other content was text only.

I have an IBM Thinkpad T43 laptop running Windows XP SP-3. All Windows updates are current.

adobe.com display perfectly using Firefox 5.0 on my Thinkpad T30 (also running XP SP3) as I am sure it would have on my T43 before installing Firefox 6.0.

I was only able to update my graphics driver to version 8.593.100.7-090929a-089427C from the Lenovo website to which I was referred to by AMD.

There may be other websites similarly affected.

I hope that this isn't a bug with 6.0. I would hate to go bat to 5.0.

Thanks for your help.

The site looks fine to me using Firefox 6 on a Lenove Thinkpad T400. Could stylesheets for the site be disabled accidentally in your browser? Open the site in Firefox, then click on the "View" menu (or press Alt+V), then go to "Page Style" and make sure that "Basic Page Style" is selected.

If that doesn't work, try clearing your cache, or see more suggestions on this page: Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should

Hi mubrubeck --

Thanks very much for your quick reply. I had shutdown my T43 for the day but when I saw your response on another computer, I turned on my laptop, launched Firefox and went directly to adobe.com. It displayed properly so I guess that something may have been cached causing the site to display the same each time. Turning my laptop off then on again probably flushed the bad cache. The problem solved itself I guess.

Anyway, I have made a note of your suggestions and will keep them near by for future reference.

Thanks again for your help. I really appreciate it. I'm a big fan of Firefox and try not to use Internet Exploder if I can avoid it.
