Can I set all new tabs to close after a certain period of time?
I want Firefox to close new tabs automatically after 30 seconds of me not doing anything on them. Is there some way to make it do this?

Not in the basic Firefox build, and not with any add-on that I have heard of.
Feel free to look for an add-on that has that feature.
