I am unbale to open firefox and i have no idea why that is

I have firefox and it wont open up. my internet is connected but it still says it cant open firefox. i cannot get onto any pages on firefox (so at the moment i am sending this on another pc). i really need forefox to get school work and other stuff but i cant so i cant do my work. what am i suppose to do?
