I get error messages when opening ff 7:

The error message indicates that this is coming from the Skype add-on. If you're not using it, you could just uninstall or disable it from the Add-ons page (Click the orange Firefox button and then click Add-ons).
Thank you for this info - is it Skype that is now out of date?
