How can I stop Portscan attacks?
I am operating Mini Mac OSX (Tiger). Lately, according to Norton Antivirus, there have been a lot of Portscan Attacks, which have been blocked. My question is this: Is there a security device available with Firefox to stop these attacks?

No. You must turn on firewall protection on your computer:
