When I click on a pdf doc on a site, Firefox begins opening new windows until I quit the application. On a mac.
The dialog box of downloads that appears on Firefox after a download is complete shows the document as a .pdf. (of course this is after I restart Firefox). However, in my user/downloads folder, the document is .pdf.part

You get that problem if you select the Firefox program to handle a file if you get an "open with" dialog.
