I do not see the open "New Window" button that was available on previous versions. Is it still available?

This button was in the upper left corner. Clicking on it would open a new FF window (instance)

You can find the New Window button in the toolbar palette of the Customize window and drag the button on a toolbar.

Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
