from last two days I have strange problem of crashing firefox and everytime submitting crash report (more than 20 times ) i have submitted the report. I googled some options and installed a full new copy of v.8.0 from the mozilla site and again problem unsolved. I again googled and found that profile folder may be missing so I typed the command %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ a strange message saying loacation unavailable is appearing (cant able to find profile folder). Please help me to resolve the issue. I have tried many things but didnt found anything worthy.

Usually the command would work even if the hidden option for files and folders are enabled. You can make sure by typing just %APPDATA% . If possible try installing Firefox under another user account.

Hi,

If the %APPDATA% isn't opening, it would usually be an issue in the Windows OS system variables and the registry.

Hi Tushar,

I'm not sure about that. I'm really sorry. I think you don't have to format the PC. It would be best if you post in a Windows OS forum.
