I can't update and there is no automatic update option
Trying to update to 9.0 Linux 64 bit. When I looked under preferences, add ons and search engines are ticked for update but there is nothing for Firefox and when I go to help, about firefox it just says you are currently on the update channel and never gives update status. How do I get the new version?

try the alternate and easiest way by downlaoding here
It downloaded but did not install, how do I do that.
