looked at devices that work and the HTC vivid isn't on there.....its a new phone that out from AT&T....

This phone has a dual-core 1.2 GHz ARMv7 cpu and 1GB Ram so it should be quite capable.

It may may not be on list yet at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android due to being rather new.

You should have Android Market on phone so you should be able to install Firefox 9.0 from there.
