How do I keep a history of my downloads?
I'm the only guy in the world who wants to keep a history of downloads. In Firefox v3.x the "Downloaded History" came in handy as an archive, i.e., I never cleared it.
However, Firefox v9 seems to think that if I want to clear "Browser" and "Form & Search History," I also want to clear "Download History." Not true. My clear download history check box is cleared. Is there a way to meet my needs?

Don't use Clear Recent History to clear that browsing and download history item if you want to keep the download history.
You can clear the browsing history manually in the Library or sidebar.
