How do you disable the notifications that display at the bottom of the page when requesting a page (i.e. "waiting...", "connecting...")? I am trying to run Firefox in a kiosk mode and remove any indication that the content is online.

I have a page setup with an iFrame that displays a page for a set amount of time and then the source of the iFrame is updated via Javascript. Each time JavaScript updates the page, a small grey notification window appears for about a second denoting the change in URL for the iFrame (i.e. "waiting..." or "Looking up..." or "Connecting..." followed by the URL). I would like to disable these notifications so the page changes URLs in the iFrame with no browser notification of the change.

You can use this extension to hide the pop-up that shows the URL of a link on hover and other data that previously appeared on the Status bar.
