Firefox crashes
I've just formatted my iMac with SLeopard and can't figure out what is going on. Any installation of Firefox crashes about 3 seconds of use. I'm not using any plugins at all.

Thank you very much cor-el. The real problem was the OS Lion install... guess your solution could be that one.
After more then 40 hours working on my Mac - formating and trying to discover what happens with this complicated system I've found a solution and everything is perfect now.

Looks like a font problem
You can do a check for corrupted and duplicate fonts and other font issues:
