Google search page refreshes itself frequently on firefox beta 15
Anytime I make query search using google search the result page keeps on refreshing itself without giving me a chance to scroll on results. I think this problem appeared after I started using the Google Image search application.
I have tried clearing all the cache and cookies but that doesn't seem to resolve the problem since the the same problems reappears again

hello azbua, first of all please update to the current version of firefox - firefox 18.
i suspect that the problem you've described is caused by an addon, but since there are also multiple adware related extensions and customizations present in your current profile, i think it would be best to reset firefox (this will keep your saved bookmarks & passwords).
Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

Firefox 15 was beta about 6 months ago, why are you still using that? Firefox 18 is the current stable, and 19 is the current beta.

Thanks tyler n madp. I at 1st thot the problem waz due 2 som google bug since I have never experienced such a problem. I will upgrade to the latest version of mozilla to see if that wil eliminate the issue. thanks guyz

@tyler the problem still persists even after i have upgraded to version19 beta1. @madp the problem seems to be eliminated after I have Reset Firefox. But I will dig deeper to find the root cause, so as to avoid it in future
