Are only web pages affected or the user interface (toolbars) as well?

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

Do you still see the Flash plugin on the Tools > Add-ons > Plugins page?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
